tis the season...

...to be jolly and all that...snow cover_ing 2/3 of France (not us - we are protected in the southeastern corner - all the white stuff stays on the alps and doesn't get down to us - exceot occasionally and then it is total mayhem). Fantastic sky over us this morning- fiery angry reds and oranges - very evocative, very very beautiful.
House is full of boxes again...must do some packing.

the big chill

well, most of France and the whole of the UK seem to have been hit by blizzards and dastardly weather conditions. We have had extreme cold for la cote d'azur, but as yet no neige. The ski stations are all open so if we want to experience the powdery stuff we can catch a bus into the alps. Preparing for move to gorgeous house in Le Rouret. Back in boxes. feels like we moved here only yesterday, but somehow we seem to already have twice as much stuff to move. Help! Help! Need men with vans - NOW!
